This remedy is for temporary discouragement, disappointment or doubt, or for anyone who has a chronic tendency to be discouraged easily and stop trying. They tend to see the glass as half full. This includes pessimists who feel that they shouldn’t bother because things won’t work out anyway. This can be appear as a mild exogenous depression—in other words, when sadness has been triggered by a disappointing external event.
